Summer Fun

What a cute way to keep up with your children's towels this summer!  These towels were personalized with appliqued designs and the child's name.  No more getting towels mixed up.  I used regular bath size towels for this project.  The font I used for these towels is Kristen TTF font, that my layout and editing program converted to a digitalized design.  It stitched out great, the letters are think all the way to the end, keeping them from fading into the pile of the towel.   I used a water soluble stabilizer on tip of the towels to hold the stitches on top of the pile of the towels, it helps the letter stitch out smooth.  These make great gifts for birthdays!  For these towels, I used the alligator, boy turtle and girl turtle designs from Lynnie Pinnie, and the butterfly design is from Sew Many Designs Monkeys and More CD.
